The standard measurement protocol involves subjecting the observer to a series of identical, predictable mechanical oscillations (the "Clarity Engine"). Subjective Velocity (SV) is inversely proportional to the Mutter Ratio ($\mu$). If $\mu > 1$, the observer perceives time as moving slowly relative to the objective event, resulting in a high SV. If $\mu < 1$, the observer perceives the event as passing too quickly, resulting in a low SV, often described as "temporal impatience."
